Clark Farms Trucking, Inc. offers excellent job opportunities for OTR drivers located in Southern Illinois. We primarily operate in the Midwest and East or within a one thousand -mile radius of Marion, IL. This allows the driver to be home almost every weekend. (Most drivers work one or two weekends a year.) Even though you will be home most weekends this does not mean you will get home or leave at the same time every week. The most common week is leaving Sunday afternoon and returning Friday evening by 10:00 p.m. There will be weeks in which you will be home during the week, but this is not guaranteed. Anytime the trucks are in Marion, IL they should be parked on Clark Farms property. Clark Farms currently dispatches the drivers over the phone. The drivers will be given the load information, direction to pick-up and delivery locations, and any other information needed to complete the task in a timely manner. Because we do not use any kind of satellite tracking we require our driver to always call when they are loaded, empty or having any trouble. Good communication is the key to any business running smoothly.

Pay and Benefits
Currently we start our drivers at 23% of gross, after 3 months you will be eligible for health insurance. Clark Farms will only pay for the employees insurance, if the employee wishes to add any or all of his/her family and take advantage of the group rate he/she can. After 6 months of employment you will be eligible for a pay raise to 24% of gross. This is not automatic and will be decided on employee performance. After a year of employment you will be eligible for a weeks paid vacation. An employee of Clark Farms should make between 31,000 to 36,000 dollars in a year.
